Fads...they're everywhere
Have you ever looked back on a photo of yourself and thought 'what was I thinking?'...
Well I am pretty sure most of us have looked at those pictures and were absolutely horrified with our fashion and style choices at that paticular phase of our lives. But like it or not it is obvious that we were following (or trying to follow) the particular fad that was 'cool' at the time. It is these fads however that seem to be 'out' as soon as they have come 'in' and it can be a very confusing nightmare trying to keep up with the current fads.
Fads are not only seen in fashion however, they are also evident in exercise, diets, hobbies, sports and just about every other aspect of your life that you could imagine.
Even though when we look back we wonder why we choose to follow such an outrageous fad, it is obvious that we had fun following it at the time, This is why I think it is important to look back and have a good laugh at some of the weirdest fads that have sucked people in.

I definitely agree with you on this one. A good example, I reckon, are emos. Its a current trend that my sister wants to get into, I don't really see the point in wearing black or dying my hair in outrageous colours but I guess there're certain factors such as peer pressure that sucks people into the trend.
